by David Leisering | Pirates Correspondent | Thu, Jun 11th 7:25am EDT
Tyler Callihan went 2-for-2 with two home runs, two walks, three runs scored, and four runs batted in to help the Pirates to a 9-8 comeback win over the Dodgers on Wednesday.
Fantasy Impact:
Callihan had a career night against Shohei Ohtani and the Dodgers as the Pirates rallied with eight runs in the seventh and eighth innings to stun the visitors. Callihan hit his first major league home run - a solo shot - off of Ohtani in the fourth inning and then added a three-run blast off of Kyle Hurt in the eighth to give the Pirates their first lead of the night. Since his call-up at the end of May, Callihan is now 4-for-12 with two home runs, six runs batted in, and a 2:5 K:BB ratio in seven games. Regardless of what happens in the future, he'll never forget June 10, 2026.
