Los Angeles Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said his level of concern regarding Shohei Ohtani's knee injury is "not high" and said he feels good about Ohtani being back in the lineup for Friday's game against the Chicago White Sox. (Jack Harris on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Ohtani was removed in the seventh inning of Thursday's game against the Pittsburgh Pirates due to left knee inflammation. He first appeared to experience discomfort in his knee/hamstring area following a stolen base attempt that was ruled a foul ball earlier in the contest. Roberts said the decision to take Ohtani out was precautionary, and the team will evaluate how he feels on Friday before determining his availability for the series opener against the Chicago White Sox. Before exiting, Ohtani went 2-for-2 with a home run, two walks, two runs scored and an RBI. He has been on a tear at the plate in June, slashing .444/.535/.833 across 36 at-bats.
