Tommy Troy goes deep in Sunday victory over Reds

by David Leisering | Diamondbacks Correspondent | Sun, Jun 14th 11:22pm EDT

Tommy Troy went 1-for-3 with a solo home run on Sunday in a 5-3 victory over the Reds.

Fantasy Impact:

Troy connected for his second home run of the season off of Cincinnati starter, Andrew Abbott, to get Arizona on the board in the third inning. Troy started his big league career on a four-game hitting streak during which he hit .417 (5-for-12). However, since then, the rookie has hit just .178 (8-for-45) with 12 strikeouts over his last 15 games. It's been even worse in his last seven outings as he is in the midst of a 2-for-21 skid at the dish. Overall, Troy is hitting .228 with a .691 OPS in his first 19 big league games.
