Patrick Corbin ineffective in short outing Sunday versus Yankees

by Brenton Kemp | Blue Jays Correspondent | Mon, Jun 15th 4:15pm EDT

Blue Jays left-hander Patrick Corbin allowed two earned runs on seven hits in 3 2/3 innings in a no-decision on Sunday against the Yankees.

Fantasy Impact:

Corbin didn't walk a batter and struck out three on the day, but allowed seven hits, including two doubles, while throwing 76 pitches before getting the hook. Corbin had a nice stretch of starts to begin his Blue Jays tenure, but has allowed 11 runs over his last three starts spanning just 11 2/3 innings. He will take a 4.57 ERA into his next scheduled start, which is set for this weekend in Chicago against the Cubs.
