Marcell Ozuna homers Wednesday in Pirates' victory

Marcell Ozuna went 2-for-5 with a solo home run as the Pirates defeated the Athletics, 12-4, on Wednesday.

There was a Marcell Ozuna sighting on Wednesday as he launched his first home run in more than a month off of Scott Barlow to lead off the seventh. The veteran slugger made his first appearance in a game since June 11 as he has quickly fallen out of favor in Pittsburgh. Ozuna, who signed late in the offseason, has had a disappointing season with the Pirates, batting just .198 with six home runs and 24 RBI in 52 games. On the plus side however, when he has played this month, Ozuna has gone 6-for-20 (.300) in six appearances as he keeps inching closer to the Mendoza line.
