Nolan McLean earned the win Wednesday against the Reds, allowing one unearned run over seven innings in a 9-1 victory. He struck out nine, giving him 97 strikeouts on the season, and has now allowed two runs or fewer 10 times this year. The lone run scored in the third inning after a Mark Vientos error and a double to left field.
Fantasy Impact:
McLean’s fourth win came with another run-prevention effort and a strong strikeout total. He is lined up for home starts against the Cubs and Phillies next week.
