Aaron Nola turns in decent effort Thursday night
by Nate Miller | Phillies Correspondent | Fri, Jun 19th 8:43am EDT
Aaron Nola allowed three runs (two earned) on seven hits and one walk while striking out six over five innings in Thursday's 6-4 loss to the Mets.
Fantasy Impact:
It appeared Nola might be in for another shaky outing Thursday, as the Mets put up a two-spot in the first inning. However, the veteran righty settled down and only allowed one more run over the next four frames. Nola is still lugging around an ugly 5.71 ERA and 1.48 WHIP through 15 starts. However, this effort was at least somewhat encouraging. Fantasy managers should still keep tabs on Nola.
