Ben Brown allowed two runs on four hits, did not walk a batter, and struck out four as the Cubs hammered the Blue Jays, 16-2, on Friday.
Fantasy Impact:
Brown continued his sensational work since joining the Cubs' rotation as he has now allowed three runs or fewer in all eight of his starts. He did allow his first home run in 42.1 innings as a starter - and just his second of the season - to George Springer in the sixth. Brown has allowed just eight earned runs in his eight starts and sports a 3-1 record with a 1.70 ERA and a 41:11 K:BB ratio in those outings. Overall, in 20 appearances, he is 4-2 with a 1.85 ERA and a 65:19 K:BB ratio across 68 innings. Brown is lined up to take on the Mets, in New York, in his next start on Wednesday.
