Sam Bachman picks up first save of season Sunday

Sam Bachman pitched a 1-2-3 ninth inning on Sunday to earn his first save of the season as the Angels defeated the Athletics, 9-7.
Fantasy Impact:
Bachman was summoned from the Angels' bullpen after Zach Neto gave them a two-run lead in the top half of the ninth. He threw nine of his 11 pitches for strikes, retiring Zack Gelof, Nick Kurtz, and Jacob Wilson for his second career save and his first since June 16, 2023 against the Royals. Bachman has appeared in 28 games out of the bullpen and has a 3.63 ERA with 35 strikeouts in 34.2 innings.
