Tigers right-hander Will Vest pitched 1 1/3 scoreless innings to earn the save over the Astros on Monday.
Fantasy Impact:
Vest was called upon with two on and two out in the bottom of the eighth and got a massive strikeout of Jasson Dominguez to end the threat. He then sat the Yankees down in order in the ninth, including a game-ending strikeout of Amed Rosario to seal it. Vest picked up his second save of the season, both of the multi-inning variety, as he sports a 5.61 ERA, albeit alongside a 3.60 xFIP and a 3.31 SIERA, across 26 outings on the season.
