Jacob Latz records 14th save
by Bruno Mulé | Rangers Correspondent | Tue, Jun 23rd 9:28am EDT
Jacob Latz tossed 1.1 scoreless innings Monday against the Marlins to earn his 14th save of the season. He entered in the eighth inning with the bases loaded and protected the lead by getting Jakob Marsee to ground out. Latz returned for the ninth and retired the side in order while needing 31 pitches to record the final four outs.
Fantasy Impact:
Latz’s 31-pitch outing could leave him unavailable for Tuesday’s game after being used for a four-out save.
