Aroldis Chapman records second blown save

by Bruno Mulé | Red Sox Correspondent | Mon, Jun 29th 9:07am EDT

Aroldis Chapman allowed two runs, one earned, on one hit and one walk over one inning in Sunday’s 5-4 extra-inning win over the Yankees. He struck out two and was charged with his second blown save of the season, though Boston’s victory in the 10th kept him from taking the loss.

Fantasy Impact:

Chapman has allowed six runs, five earned, over his last five innings, a stretch that includes both of his blown saves and two of his three losses. He still owns a 2.19 ERA, 1.26 WHIP, and 32:12 K while converting 16 of 18 save chances, and his closing role does not appear to be in danger. After pitching on three of the last four days, he may receive a rest day.
