Chris Sale punches out 10 in Sunday's loss
by Nate Miller | Braves Correspondent | Mon, Jun 29th 9:19am EDT
Chris Sale gave up two runs (one earned) on eight hits and one walk while striking out 10 over six innings in Sunday's 3-2 loss to the Giants.
Fantasy Impact:
The Braves' bats continue to slump, leading to an undeserved loss for Sale on Sunday. The ace southpaw has gone 0-3 over four June starts despite putting up a terrific 2.35 ERA and 29-5 K/BB ratio across 23 innings. The Braves' offense has given Sale only 2.3 runs of support per game in those four outings. Fantasy managers will hope this poor luck changes going into July. Sale will next take the mound Saturday against the Mets.
