Trey Yesavage excellent in win over Mets Monday
by Brenton Kemp | Blue Jays Correspondent | Tue, Jun 30th 11:41am EDT
Blue Jays right-hander Trey Yesavage pitched 6 2/3 innings, allowing just one earned run while earning the win over the Mets on Monday.
Fantasy Impact:
Yesavage was as solid as it gets in this one, allowing just three hits while walking none and striking out three in his 6 2/3 innings of work. His lone blemish was a Francisco Lindor solo home run in the seventh inning, but Yesavage otherwise kept the Mets in check on Monday. The most encouraging sign was his zero free passes after he allowed five walks in his previous start against the Astros, the third time over a five-start stretch in which he walked at least five. The 22-year-old will look to keep rolling in a road matchup against the Mariners this weekend.
