The Cubs didn’t take advantage of the hitting-friendly weather yesterday, but they get a do-over tonight, with a dreamy matchup and mouthwatering hitting weather.
JP Sears had a shockingly good debut for the Padres last week, holding the Braves to two runs on five hits, two walks and five strikeouts in 5.2 innings. Still, the 30-year-old lefty had a 7.92 ERA, 5.65 xERA and 5.07 xFIP in 14 starts in Triple-A. The Cubs can crush him tonight.

The 27-year-old righty has allowed a .306 wOBA to right-handed batters and an eye-popping .407 wOBA to left-handed batters in 2026.
Arizona’s bullpen is also below average, ranking 18th in ERA (4.31) in 2026. The Giants have an opportunity to erupt tonight, and their salaries are cap-friendly, allowing gamers to stack them around the highlighted pitchers easily.
