Fantasy Impact:
Maton has been sidelined since June 26 due to right knee tendinitis. He made a rehab appearance on July 8, throwing 13 of his 15 pitches for strikes and not allowing a run. He will rejoin the Cubs' bullpen and take Jake Woodford's spot on the active roster after Woodford was designated for assignment.
