Robert Gasser allowed seven earned runs on eight hits while striking out three over three innings in a 14-5 loss to the Pirates.
Fantasy Impact:
Gasser has offered mixed results on the mound of late, allowing three earned runs or more in three of his last six trips to the mound. The left-hander remains one of the more inconsistent options when called on to toe the rubber by manager Pat Murphy, posting a 5.24 ERA and 1.27 WHIP with a 2-4 record and 8.4 K/9 ratio through nine starts.
