Bryce Elder turns in solid effort Monday night

Bryce Elder allowed two runs on five hits and a walk while striking out four over six-plus innings in Monday's 3-2 win against the Padres.
Fantasy Impact:
Elder might have been left in Monday's game just one batter too long, as he allowed a solo homer to begin the seventh inning. However, that didn't negate a much needed quality outing for the right-hander, as he exited with the Braves ahead. The bullpen hung on to the 3-3 lead, which evened up Elder's record at 6-6 through 19 starts. He'll go into Saturday's start at Baltimore carrying a 4.06 ERA, 1.23 WHIP, and 19.7 K% for the season.
