Tigers outfielder James Outman went 1-for-3 with a three-run homer in a 4-3 win over the Royals on Thursday.
Fantasy Impact:
Outman came to the plate in the seventh inning down 2-0 with two men on and two out, and deposited to a two-strike pitch just over the right field wall to give the Tigers a 3-2 lead at the time. The long ball was Outman's fourth of the season, but he is still hitting just .159 with four homers, six stolen bases, and a .515 OPS across 80 games between the Twins and Tigers this season. With Javier Baez (ankle) currently on a rehab assignment, Outman's time on the active roster in Detroit could be nearing its end.
