Keider Montero allowed three earned runs on four hits and one walk while striking out three over five innings in Tuesday's 4-1 loss to the Pirates.
Fantasy Impact:
Montero has offered mixed results of late, allowing three earned runs or more in three of his last six contests. The right-hander will need to provide manager AJ Hinch with another reliable arm in a revamped Tigers rotation as the club fights for a Wild Card spot in the American Legue, posting a 3.30 ERA and 1.00 WHIP with a 9-8 record and .604 OPS allowed across 27 appearances.
