Reid Detmers allowed two earned runs on four hits and one walk while striking out nine over five innings in Tuesday’s 3-2 loss to the Astros.

Detmers continues a solid stretch in the mound, allowing two earned runs or less in seven of his last 10 contests. The left-hander has offered manager Kurt Suzuki one of the more stable options as part of an underperforming Angels rotation, posting a 4.03 ERA and 1.10 WHIP with a 3-7 record and 10.4 K/9 ratio across 22 starts.
