Bryan Baker allowed one earned run on one hit while striking out three in the ninth inning of Friday's 2-1 win over the Seattle Mariners, earning his 33rd save of the season.
Fantasy Impact:
After striking out the first two batters he faced, Baker surrendered a home run to Julio Rodriguez in the ninth inning, his first earned run allowed since June 24. However, he bounced back to strike out Josh Naylor and close out the game. He owns a 1.59 ERA and 0.84 WHIP with 51 strikeouts across 45.1 innings this season.
