Kevin McGonigle went 3-for-4 in Friday's 5-2 loss to the Giants with one run scored and one walk.

The rookie has rewarded manager AJ Hinch with one of the more dynamic options in a streaky Tigers lineup to this point, carrying an .829 OPS with 12 home runs, 44 RBI, 75 runs scored, and 11 steals through 112 games.
