Keider Montero allowed five earned runs on five hits and three walks while striking out five over six innings in Friday's loss to the Giants.
Fantasy Impact:
Montero continues a solid stretch on the mound of late, allowing two earned runs or less in seven of his last 10 contests. The right-hander provides manager AJ Hinch with another surprisingly stable option in a revamped Tigers rotation after the trade deadline, posting a 3.38 ERA and 1.01 WHIP with an 8-7 record and .615 OPS allowed through 25 appearances.
