Sandy Alcantara allowed just three hits and one walk while striking out eight across seven scoreless innings in Saturday's 7-0 win over the Los Angeles Angels.

Alcantara was lights out once again, allowing just three hits for the first time since July 17 while striking out eight, matching his highest total since July 10. He has now gone three straight starts without allowing a run and owns a 3.52 ERA and 1.17 WHIP with 128 strikeouts across 163.2 innings this season. His next scheduled start is on Friday against the Cincinnati Reds.
