Kevin Gausman allowed six runs on seven hits and one walk while striking out seven in Thursday's 7-0 loss to the Washington Nationals.
Fantasy Impact:
Gausman tossed three straight scoreless innings before running into trouble in the fourth, when he allowed an RBI double to Dylan Crews. Things unraveled further in the fifth, as he surrendered five runs, including a three-run homer to Abimelec Ortiz. On the year, Gausman owns a 4.53 ERA and 1.27 WHIP with 138 strikeouts across 139 innings. He'll look to bounce back in his next scheduled start on Wednesday against the Chicago White Sox.
