Ian Seymour allowed three runs on six hits and one walk while striking out nine across six innings in Saturday's 4-3 loss against the Baltimore Orioles.

Two of the three runs Seymour allowed Saturday came on solo home runs, one by Pete Alonso in the fifth inning and another by Christian Encarnacion-Strand in the sixth. Despite allowing the two long balls, Seymour had a strong outing, racking up nine strikeouts while delivering a quality start. In three starts this month, he owns a 3.00 ERA and 1.17 WHIP with 25 strikeouts across 18 innings. His next scheduled start is on Thursday against the Toronto Blue Jays.
