Grant Holmes gave up six runs on six hits and three walks while striking out three over 3 2/3 innings in Saturday's 10-3 loss to the Diamondbacks.
Fantasy Impact:
Holmes was tagged early and often by the Arizona bats Saturday night. This was certainly a disappointing effort, as the righty had rolled off a dozen straight scoreless innings over his previous two starts. Holmes still holds a respectable 3.82 ERA across 117 2/3 innings this season, but consistency has been an issue. There is also a possibility Holmes ends up in a bullpen role down the stretch.
