Zack Wheeler gave up two runs on just two hits with four walks and seven strikeouts across five innings in Tuesday's 6-4 win over the Marlins.
Fantasy Impact:
Wheeler did get an overall better result on Tuesday than in his last few starts, but the veteran righty was still well below peak form. Wheeler worked around four walks to limit the Marlins to just two runs, and the Philadelphia bats rallied back from a two-run deficit to keep him taking a loss. Wheeler still sports an excellent 2.92 ERA and 1.01 WHIP through 21 starts this year, but he has uncharacteristically issued 10 free passes over his last 15 1/3 innings. Just something for fantasy managers to note.
