by Nicholas Rodriguez | Rays Correspondent |
Ian Seymour allowed three earned runs on six hits and one walk while striking out eight across five innings in Thursday's 5-1 loss to the Toronto Blue Jays.
Fantasy Impact:
Seymour gave up three runs, all of which came on solo homers. He allowed one to Kazuma Okamoto in the second inning before Nathan Lukes and Daz Cameron each went deep in the fifth. He made up for the long balls by striking out eight batters. He's now struck out at least seven batters in four straight starts while posting a 3.52 ERA and 1.22 WHIP during that span. His next scheduled start is on Tuesday against the Detroit Tigers.
