Deron Williams has been waived by the Mavericks just after the trade deadline. The Mavs were unable to find a trade partner so they will elect to go with Yogi Ferrell at point guard the rest of the season. Expect teams to go after Williams off waivers such as the Cavaliers.
Fantasy Impact:
Williams has been plagued by injuries this season severely hurting his fantasy season. If Williams does get picked up by the Cavaliers, he will be coming off the bench making him a tough player to stash. It's Yogi time. Pick him up.
