Jonas Valanciunas ineffective in win

Jonas Valanciunas once again underperformed in Toronto’s 92-91 win Monday night over the New York Knicks. Scoring only 10 points and grabbing a handful of rebounds, Valanciunas played an underwhelming 19 minutes.
Fantasy Impact:
Valanciunas’ fantasy stock continues to rapidly decline. With the addition of Serge Ibaka and a healthy Patrick Patterson, his numbers continue to fall. Though he can produce, which is possible against the Washington Wizards, a team Toronto will play twice in a row starting Wednesday night, he instills very little confidence in fantasy owners. If you have no other options, which would seem unlikely with a loaded Wednesday night NBA slate, Valanciunas can possibly surprise fantasy players. However, too many inconsistencies surround his production which make him a hard sell to any fantasy owner.
