Kyle Lowry will opt out of contract and become free agent

Kyle Lowry confirmed that he will opt of his contract and become a free agent this summer. His player option was worth only $12 million and he could likely get a $200 million contract on the open market if he stays with Toronto. Let the bidding war begin for Lowry as he will be one of the top free agents this summer. (Marc Stein on Twitter)

Lowry could be wearing a new uniform next season and his destination is unknown and his fantasy value is unlikely to be affected. If Lowry leaves, DeMar DeRozen and Cory Joseph get a huge boost next season. Stay tuned.
