Patty Mills narrowly misses triple-double

by Christopher Berg | Heat Correspondent | Tue, Nov 21st 9:18am EST

Patty Mills came the closest he has all season to a triple-double finishing with eight points, eight rebounds and seven assists to go with two steals and two blocks in 33 minutes of action in Monday night's 96-85 win over the Hawks. His rebound and assist totals Monday night are both season-highs, but his shot was less than efficient shooting just 37 percent. Making it two consecutive games finishing with single-digit point totals with shooting percentages below 40 percent.

Fantasy Impact:

Mills filled up the stat sheet Monday night, but take it with a grain of salt as the Hawks rank as one of the worst teams against point guards. This was an unusual stat line for Mills who usually won't provide those type of rebound/assist totals. Mills will typically be a good source of points while supplementing it with averages of two rebounds and four assists. Don't overreact to the numbers from this game and expect his normal output of scoring to lead his fantasy production Wednesday night against the Pelicans.
