Patty Mills shoots lights out in win over Nets

by Christopher Berg | Heat Correspondent | Thu, Jan 18th 12:42pm EST

Patty Mills shot 7-for-10, including 7-for-8 from beyond the arc to finish Wednesday night's 100-95 win over the Nets with 25 points. Mills added two rebounds, two assists and three steals to his stat line in 26 minutes of playing time off the bench. His 25 points are the most he's scored in seven games and the third time in the past five games he's reached double-figures.

Fantasy Impact:

Mills is a pure shooter who certainly can fill it up when he is on, which he just happened to be Wednesday night. That being said he is a high-risk, high-reward type of play for fantasy purposes. He doesn't do enough in other aspects of the game to produce a good stat line when his shot is struggling, but when his shot is on he can certainly score at a high rate. He remains a risky DFS play and wouldn't need much consideration for season-long formats.
