Jonas Valanciunas held scoreless in 11 minutes

by Alex Murray | Pelicans Correspondent | Mon, Jan 22nd 4:53pm EST

Jonas Valanciunas was held scoreless on just one field goal attempt in 11 minutes of action during Toronto's loss to Memphis on Saturday. Valanciunas added three rebounds and an assist on the night.

Fantasy Impact:

After back-to-back monster double-double games, Valanciunas faded completely into the background again on Saturday. The big Lithuanian has put up five (and was one rebound off from a sixth) double-doubles this month and is averaging 16.7 points and 13.3 rebounds in 24.2 minutes in those games. Conversely, in the other five games this month he's been playing just 16 minutes and putting up just 4.4 points and 4.0 rebounds per game. There's just no way to tell which Valanciunas, coach Dwayne Casey will put out there on a nightly basis.
