Pau Gasol struggles to keep pace with Rockets

Pau Gasol struggled in Thursday night's 102-91 loss to the Rockets scoring six points, all coming from the free-throw line. He missed his lone field goal attempt in the game. Gasol did grab seven rebounds and added one assist, two blocks and two steals to his stat line in 20 minutes of action. His six points broke a streak of seven straight games scoring in double-figures.
Fantasy Impact:
This was a bad matchup for the older, much slower paced Spurs team which was evidenced by Gasol's stat line. He played just 20 minutes as he just couldn't keep up. He still produced solid rebounding numbers but took a hit on the scoring end of things. Gasol doesn't seem to be matchup proof so it's best to keep an eye on that when considering him for lineups.
