Chris Paul

Chris Paul with mediocre performance in season opener

by Bryan Fleischmann | Warriors Correspondent | Thu, Oct 18th 9:24am EDT

Chris Paul had a decent season opener from a stats perspective, scoring 19 points on 50 percent shooting from the field. He also added five rebounds, six assists and two steals. Overall it did not matter much as the Houston Rockets could not stop the New Orleans Pelicans all night and ended up getting blown out by 19 points.

Fantasy Impact:

Even though Paul ended with a -19 plus/minus on the night he was still solid from a fantasy perspective in his 32 minutes of action. With some new pieces added to the roster it might take a little time for the Rockets to really find their groove offensively, but Paul should be solid all year as long as he can stay healthy.
