Jonas Valanciunas draws the start in Wednesday season opener

Jonas Valanciunas started the season opener against the Cavaliers over Serge Ibaka but struggled to get scoring going. Valanciunas ended up playing less minutes than Ibaka (20 to 27) and scored only six points on 3-of-8 shooting. Valanciunas was able to grab 12 total rebounds and add three assists.
Fantasy Impact:
Valanciunas and Ibaka will both get their share of starts but seemingly limit each other's upside throughout each game. With Kyle Lowry and Kawhi Leonard taking at least 30 shots combined per game Valanciunas will need to be more efficient with his chances. A double-double will be a good game for Valanciunas this season as long as Ibaka is in the mix.
