Carmelo Anthony will be waived by the Rockets

Carmelo Anthony's time with the Rockets is close to the end as the team plans to waive the veteran forward after his short stint with the team. Anthony will look to sign with another contender possibly the Lakers or the 76ers. (Adrian Wojnarowski on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Anthony's not the same fantasy option he once was but he's still an option in deeper leagues, if he's available. The 76ers made the most sense but now with Jimmy Butler, they may pass on Anthony's services. He will go unclaimed and then sign with another team.
