Kyle Lowry misses chance to win NBA Championship in front of home fans

by Nic Turner | 76ers Correspondent | Tue, Jun 11th 12:08am EDT

Kyle Lowry had a good look from the three-point line with seconds left but hit the side of the backboard and the Warriors came away with a 106-105 victory on Monday night. The Raptors were up six points with two minutes left but failed to close out the series and win their first NBA championship in Toronto. It was a heartbreaking loss for the team but they will look to re-group for Thursday’s game six matchup in Golden State.

Fantasy Impact:

Lowry had a strong game, finishing with 16 points, four rebounds and six assists. Unfortunately he made a bad turnover with a couple minutes left and failed to hit the last shot of the game. Look for Toronto to be much better from the three-point line on Thursday and put in another good effort against a Warriors team that will be without superstar Kevin Durant.
