Pau Gasol (illness) ruled out for Friday's meeting with Minnesota

Starting PF Pau Gasol has been ruled out for Friday night's home game against the Timberwolves. He went into Friday morning's shootaround sick and couldn't finish out the practice session. (K.C. Johnson on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Taj Gibson will draw his 14th start this season in the place of Gasol and is worth a plug and play. He comes in averaging 10.7 PPG, 6.7 RPG and 1.3 BPG this season. Rookie Nikola Mirotic also figures to be in the mix for extended playing time. Gasol should be considered questionable for Sunday afternoon's clash with the Clippers.
