Mills provided a workmanlike performance in 24 minutes for San Antonio in a losing effort on Friday night. To the surprise of few, most of his output was attributed to the three-ball. Mills connected with a trio of threes en route to 15 points. Mills’ high minute share from the bench and his pension to heat up from distance keeps him relevant in deeper leagues. He’s still a long shot desperation play on most nights. Look for him mainly against poor defensive squads.
