Lou Williams leads Clippers in scoring in Thursday's loss

by Dave Kluge | Fri, Feb 14th 10:15am EST

Lou Williams scored a team-high 35 points (14-33 FG, 3-9 3PT, 4-6 FT), dished eight assists, grabbed six rebounds, blocked two shots, and stole a ball over a season-high 44 minutes in Thursday's 141-133 double overtime loss to the Celtics.

Fantasy Impact:

It took two overtimes, a season-high in minutes, an injury to Paul George, and 33 shot attempts but Williams posted his best scoring effort of his 15th season on Thursday night. He's second in the league in scoring off the bench and is averaging 19.5 points, 5.9 assists, and 3.1 rebounds per game over 30 minutes this year. The veteran shooting guard will assume to rest up his legs for the second half of the season and a presumable late push in the playoffs. Williams should be owned and started in all leagues.
