Landry Shamet has a let down in loss to the Kings

by Jon Mathisen | Wizards Correspondent | Sat, Feb 22nd 7:07pm EST

Landry Shamet managed just four points (1-6 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 1-2) while adding three assists, and two steals across 34 minutes as the Clippers fell to the Kings 112-103 on Saturday.

Fantasy Impact:

Shamet was on a bit of a tear before the All-Star break but it appears the time off didn't serve him well. It was just one game but this was a smash spot for the shooting guard with Patrick Beverley out so fantasy owners are likely disappointed. Overall, this just wasn't the Clippers day as only three players notched 10 or more points. The Clips added some fire power at the trade deadline with Marcus Morris and Reggie Jackson, who could eat into Shamet's fantasy value. He's worth a hold for now but keep an eye on this situation going forward.
