Jerami Grant scores career-high 29 points, leads Nuggets to easy win

Jerami Grant came off the bench for the third straight game on Tuesday night but still managed to lead the Nuggets in scoring in a comfortable 115-98 win over Detroit. Grant scored a career-high 29 points (12-15 FG, 3-5 3pt, 2-2 FT) while adding four rebounds and one assist in 29 minutes of action.

Fantasy Impact:

One game after taking a backseat to starter Paul Millsap, who scored a season-high in points (25) on Sunday, the tables were turned on Tuesday night with Grant notching a career-best scoring output with an efficient night from the field. Playing in a reserve role behind Millsap in a crowded Nuggets rotation, Grant will be an inconsistent player to own in fantasy, but he showed tonight what he’s capable of when things are going well. The previous two games have clearly illustrated that Millsap and Grant will limit one another’s upside in fantasy leagues, making both guys low-end values at best and frustrating fantasy owners alike. Millsap remains the preferred option as a member of Denver's starting lineup.
