Jaxson Hayes totaled nine points (4-4 FG, 1-1 FT), five rebounds, one steal, and one block in 22 minutes in the Pelicans' 112-106 loss to the Kings on Tuesday.
Fantasy Impact:
Hayes went 100 percent from the floor in the Pelicans' loss to the Kings. With Derrick Favors out, Hayes got the start and put together a decent line. He will look to build on his performance as the team prepares for their match against the Magic. Hayes has the potential to produce starter-level performances; however, his inconsistency limits his fantasy appeal. It also appears that teammate Jahlil Okafor will be getting some run, making it difficult to determine how Hayes will be used in the rotation. Given the uncertainties of his situation, it would be best to fade him at this time.
