Anthony Davis likely to resign with LAL but will take his time

Anthony Davis is "on course to return to the Lakers," according to Adrian Wojnarowski but the 27-year old "will take time to consider the structure and length of the new max contract." (Adrian Wojnarowski on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Davis declined his $28.7 million player option earlier this month and became an unrestricted free agent; however, the Lakers are are still considered the favorites to resign him. The terms of the new deal will take some time to work out and it makes sense that the 7x All Star and his agent would take a measured approach to the process. When it's all said and done, AD will reunite with LeBron James to defend the Lakers' title in 2020-2021.
