Will Barton continues with roller-coaster season, held to two points Sunday

by Lucas Spence | Sun, Jan 17th 11:40pm EST

Will Barton posted yet another dud performance on Sunday night, scoring just two points (1-6 FG, 0-3 3-pt) while adding five rebounds, four assists, and one block in 26 minutes of action in a 109-105 loss to Utah.

Fantasy Impact:

Coming off back-to-back solid games with 22 and 17 points, Barton's up-and-down season showed up again tonight, as the veteran made only one shot from the field. Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray were the only two Nuggets to score in double-figures. Barton has simply become too inconsistent to trust in 10-team formats and is just a borderline guy in 12-team formats, especially with Michael Porter, Jr. returning soon. The Nuggets play just three times in the upcoming week, starting with the Thunder on Tuesday.
