P.J. Washington scores career-high 42 points in comeback win vs. Kings

P.J. Washington scored 42 points (15-23 FG, 5-8 3PT, 7-7 FT) with nine rebounds, two assists, two steals, two blocks, and a turnover across 42 minutes in Sunday's 127-126 comeback win over the Sacramento Kings.

Fantasy Impact:

Washington exploded for a career-high 42 points, knocking down five triples and getting heavily involved on defense to collect nine rebounds while forcing two steals and two blocks in an impressive fourth-quarter comeback against the Kings. Fantasy managers who took the risk of rolling Washington into starting lineups reaped the benefits greatly on Sunday but expectations should be tempered for similar production moving forward. With SF Gordon Hayward (hand) day-to-day, his potential return against the Trail Blazers on Monday could limit Washington's role offensively. Those in season-long leagues can still acquire Washington off of 30 percent of ESPN waiver wires, as he is a great depth piece that can be started in pivot scenarios.
